Prehistoric Art
Mesolithic

Mesolithic Period This is the ‘Middle Period’ of the Stone Age, between 10,000 and 5,000 BC, this period still preceded farming and the adoption of domesticated animals. The period refers to the age for Europe, Africa and Asia, and consists mostly of Rock Paintings or outdoor works on Cliff walls etc.. Since these tribes were starting to settle in places for longer periods there main focus was on domesticity.
