Adele trained at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and the Slade School of Fine Art, London. She focuses on the portrait, human form and still-life in her work.In recent years Adele has returned to printmaking, which she now continues to do alongside painting.Recent projects have taken her to Luxor, Egypt a number of times where she continues a series of portraits of contemporary Egyptians which have recently been exhibited at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, UCL and Manchester Museum. Musicians are also a current theme and Adele has been Artist in Residence of the Rehearsal Orchestra in London and Edinburgh for the past few years.
Recent exhibitions include BP Portrait Award, National Portrait Gallery London, the Jerwood Space, Royal West of England Academy. She regularly shows with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Adele also teaches at Putney School of Art & Design, West Dean College and the Slade School of Fine Art, London.
